If you're on the fence about a prenatal consultation, do it! I thought breastfeeding would be unpleasant but Heather told me what to look out for. So I knew immediately that my baby's latch wasn't ideal. By day 3, I was miserable. If it hadn't been for my prenatal consultation, I would've probably destroyed my nipples before realizing it wasn't normal and I wouldn't get used to it. I also met with her postpartum and she gave me the confidence to know I was doing everything right! So far, I've had an amazing breastfeeding journey even though it started off pretty rough!

I had the pleasure of working with Heather from Breastfeeding for Busy Moms, and I must say, it was a great experience. I regret not working with her with my first son. I met Heather at a networking event and was curious about how she could help me with my second son.
One of the first things that struck me was her inviting and comfortable space at Breastfeeding for Busy Moms. It is such a nice place.
What truly stood out was Heather's non-judgmental approach. I felt completely free to share my concerns and uncertainties without fear of criticism. Despite not having many questions initially, she clarified some misinformation that I had and offered practical resources and ingenious ideas that have genuinely made my life easier.
Moreover, Heather didn't just provide guidance; she fostered a sense of community. In a time when it's easy to feel isolated, she helped me connect, ensuring that I do not feel alone on this journey.
Overall, my experience with Heather at Breastfeeding for Busy Moms has been invaluable. She not only equipped me with the knowledge and tools I needed but also offered unwavering support and compassion. I couldn't recommend her more highly to any mom, even if they do not think they need it.
The ladies at BFBM are outstanding! I have nothing but wonderful words about my experience working with them! From the moment I walked through the doors I was welcomed by women who cared about helping my baby and I on our breastfeeding journey.
My baby had a significant lip and tongue tie released at 3 months old and I was encouraged to seek assistance to teach my daughter to relearn how to nurse properly. Heather helped to adjust my baby's feeding position and provided me helpful information in healing my body from persistent clogged ducts. Not only did we work on breastfeeding, but she helped to accomplish reregulating my milk supply and successful and positive bottle feeding experiences. Heather is so kind. She listens well and provides insightful information to help correct and treat issues. The ladies made me feel at home. I am grateful they helped to prolong my feeding journey. I now feel that I can successfully feed and nourish my baby until she's ready to be weaned. It has turned from something I dreaded and wanted to give up on to something beautiful that I believe will last much longer. I know if I ever need assistance again I have a place to reach out to.
Thank you ladies for honoring and preserving motherhood!
As a tandem-nursing (18m/3y), full time working mother, I reached out to Heather for advice on maintaining my supply while removing pumping from the equation of my work week. Wanting to continue nursing but feeling overwhelmed after three years of on/off pumping, Heather was able to support and guide me through the transition. I look forward to continuing my breastfeeding journey as it continues to evolve and change shape, and I'm so happy to know Heather is on my side should I find myself needing support in the future. Heather is a compassionate, knowledgeable soul whom I would recommend without hesitation to anyone needing support or guidance.
EmmaHeather has been absolutely amazing with helping our premature baby to breastfeed. While in the hospital she had tips for ensuring our baby got the colostrum even though she was unable to latch at the time. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field. Once we were discharged from the hospital I developed a rash on my chest that prevented me from breastfeeding. Heather called with advice on how to keep up my milk supply while our baby was unable to breastfeed. I cannot say enough great things and highly recommend Heather’s services! Thanks to her advice we have a happy breastfed baby!
MichelleJust wanted to say thank you again for all ur advice and for taking the time to video call with me. I’ve been doing all the things you told me and it’s helping tremendously. the pain is way more manageable and I’m using the hot compress time massage out the lumps and its starting to soften out bit by bit. Still working with the baby on latching properly and getting good sucking but i think we’re making progress. both learning how to do this new thing (lol).
